About the role

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help define how IO is positioned and communicated in the market, ensuring the value of our platform is clearly understood by customers.

You’ll work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to develop clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with security leaders, CISOs, compliance managers, and IT teams.

A key focus of the role is strengthening how IO is positioned — evolving the narrative from certification software toward a platform that supports continuous governance, resilience, and operational compliance.

You will also own the planning and execution of product launches, working with Product to understand upcoming capabilities and leading the cross-functional work required to bring them to market effectively.

We actively use AI within both our product and internal workflows, and we’re looking for someone who already uses AI tools in their day-to-day work to accelerate research, analysis, and product marketing execution.

This role offers a high level of ownership with support from experienced product leadership. You’ll help shape market narratives and drive initiatives forward while collaborating across teams.

The role is based in the UK and applicants will require independent right to live and work in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

Product Positioning & Market Strategy
  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning for IO and its capabilities
  • Define and evolve the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) in partnership with Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Develop and maintain a clear product value proposition that reflects both customer outcomes and strategic differentiation
  • Identify opportunities for verticalised positioning across specific industries or segments
  • Explore geographic market opportunities and adapt messaging where appropriate
  • Use market and competitive insight to inform positioning and go-to-market strategy
Product Launch Strategy & Execution
  • Identify when new capabilities or strategic initiatives require a structured product launch
  • Define launch scope, messaging, and success criteria with Product
  • Plan and coordinate cross-functional launch activities across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Develop launch assets including messaging frameworks, enablement materials, and supporting content
  • Evaluate launch performance using adoption data, customer feedback, and market response
Sales Enablement
  • Equip Sales teams with clear messaging, competitive positioning, and enablement materials
  • Ensure teams understand the ICP, value proposition, and how to communicate product value across different compliance maturity levels
AI & Modern Marketing Tools
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, analyse markets, develop messaging, and refine ICP targeting
  • Apply AI to improve product marketing workflows and insight generation

What you bring

We’re looking for someone with product marketing experience in B2B SaaS who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

You may currently be working as a Product Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Specialist, Solutions Marketing Manager, or Product Manager with strong go-to-market experience.

Relevant experience may include:

  • Developing positioning and messaging for SaaS products
  • Leading or supporting cross-functional product launches
  • Working closely with product teams to bring new capabilities to market
  • Conducting market, customer, or competitive research
  • Creating sales enablement materials and messaging frameworks

Must-haves

  • Strong ability to communicate clear customer value and differentiated positioning
  • Structured thinking and clear communication
  • A data-informed approach, using insight to guide decisions and measure results
  • Ability to evaluate launch and go-to-market performance and improve future initiatives
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of initiatives

We are particularly interested in candidates who actively use AI tools in their work today — for example to support research, analysis, and content development — and who are comfortable incorporating those tools into product marketing workflows.

Nice to haves

Experience in security, compliance, governance, or risk platforms is helpful but not required.
