About the role
We are looking for a Professional Services Lead to implement and operationalise IO’s refreshed professional services strategy.
This role will be responsible for translating the strategy into a scalable operational framework, managing consultants who deliver services to customers, and ensuring services consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
This is a strategic and operational role that will help ensure professional services become a key differentiator for IO.
The role is based in the UK and applicants will require independent right to live and work in the UK.
What you’ll be doing
Implement the Professional Services Strategy
Take ownership of implementing IO’s professional services strategy and ensure it is operationalised across the organisation.
Translate the strategy into clear delivery models, operational processes and measurable outcomes.
Build the Services Delivery Framework
Create and manage the operational framework used to track and manage services delivery. This includes:
- Service delivery lifecycle management
- Service package definitions
- Delivery milestones and success criteria
- Resource planning and utilisation tracking
- Services performance metrics
Ensure services delivery is consistent, measurable and scalable.
Consultant & Partner Management
Liaise with consultants and partners who deliver professional services to IO customers. Responsibilities include:
- Managing delivery quality
- Ensuring alignment with ISMS.online methodologies and standards
- Monitoring consultant performance and utilisation
- Managing the commercial aspects of service delivery
Customer Value & Experience
Ensure professional services consistently deliver clear and measurable value for customers.
Work closely with Sales, Customer Success and Support teams to ensure services support successful platform adoption and compliance outcomes.
Services Performance & Commercial Management
Monitor and optimise the performance of professional services delivery.
Track and analyse metrics including:
- Services utilisation
- Delivery quality
- Customer satisfaction with services
- Delivery timelines and project outcomes
Identify opportunities to improve both customer outcomes and commercial performance.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to enhance and evolve the services strategy over time. This may include:
- Improving delivery methodologies
- Introducing new service offerings
- Optimising consultant utilisation
- Enhancing operational processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with:
- Sales teams to ensure services are positioned effectively during the sales process
- Customer Success teams to support long-term customer outcomes
- Product and Engineering teams to feed customer insights back into product development
What you bring
Must-haves
At least 3 years’ experience in:
- Professional Services, Consulting Delivery, or Services Operations
- Strong background in consulting-led customer onboarding and transformation programmes
- Working in SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, or consulting environments
- Implementing or managing structured service delivery frameworks
- Delivering security, risk, or compliance programmes (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GRC etc.)
Consultant & Partner Management
Experience managing external consultants or delivery partners, ensuring quality of delivery and strong commercial outcomes. Experience building repeatable delivery frameworks and services playbooks.
Operational Excellence
Strong ability to design and implement scalable operational frameworks for service delivery with a proven track record of delivering enterprise SaaS implementations.
Customer & Commercial Focus
Understanding of how professional services support customer success, platform adoption and commercial growth. Experience of scoping and delivering professional services engagements, including SOW creation.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and external consultants.
