The United Kingdom Accreditation Service, (UKAS) is the only accreditation body recognised by the British government. UKAS seeks to determine the technical competence and integrity of organisations in the UK.
Their accreditation services include ISO standards like ISO 27001, and they also offer technical services and training. Smart customers will only accept UKAS independently certified standards from their suppliers.
