Styled Hyperlinks in Notes: Smart Linking, Clearer Context 

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. With our new styled hyperlinks feature in notes, we’ve made it easier to connect content and keep it clear and clickable. 

When you paste a link to another ISMS.online page into a note, it automatically converts into a styled hyperlink, complete with a clean label. You can edit the label directly in the note or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + K for a faster editing experience. 

Why it matters: 

• Improve readability by removing messy URLs 

• Boost contextual understanding with descriptive, editable link labels 
• Encourage cross-linking between related items like risks, policies, assets, or incidents 

This enhancement is especially helpful in collaborative projects, where team members need to reference key documents or records quickly. With styled links, you can maintain clear traceability between actions and evidence, reducing the risk of oversight.  

Filtered & Bulk-Linked Work: Contextual Connections at Scale 

Our updated linked work feature is a major leap forward in efficiency, allowing you to associate relevant work items faster and smarter. You can now: 

• Bulk-add multiple links in one go and save time

• Filter your linked work search by location (e.g. ISMS, PIMS, etc.) and type of work (e.g. Projects, Risk, Track, Accounts)

• Link to external websites just by pasting a URL. 

This update introduces a redesigned, unified linking interface. Whether you’re connecting an internal ISMS.online item or an external source, it all happens from the same streamlined panel. 

Use cases: 

• Link risk treatments to supporting controls or audit evidence 

• Connect policies to associated roles, assets, or procedures 
• Add relevant external references or regulatory guidance to a project 

This is particularly valuable for auditor-facing projects and cross-functional teams working on ISO 27001, ISO 27701, or SOC 2, where traceability is everything. 

Microsoft Teams Integration: Real-Time Awareness Where You Work 

With our new Microsoft Teams Integration, you can connect any track in ISMS.online to a Teams channel. Once connected, the integration will automatically post updates when key events happen in that track, including: 

• New track items created 

• Assignee updated 

• Due date changed 
• Status updated 

How to use it: 

• Incident Management: Alert your incident response team the moment a new issue is logged 

• Corrective Actions: Keep everyone informed when steps are assigned or updated 
• Custom Tracks: Use for supplier reviews, audit findings, security tasks, and more 

The integration supports multiple workflows, and you can configure it only to send notifications that matter most to your team. 

Setup at a glance: 

1. Create a new Webhook in Microsoft Teams using the workflows app 
2. Head to the track settings in ISMS.online and paste in your Webhook URL 
3. Choose what you want to be notified about: new items, updates, or both 
4. Save and start receiving updates directly in your Teams channel

Outlook Calendar <> ISMS.online To-Dos: Bring Compliance into Your Schedule 

Deadlines matter, but compliance platforms aren’t always at the top of your mind when managing your day-to-day calendar. Now, with the Outlook calendar integration, any To-Do with a due date assigned to you in ISMS.online will appear directly in your Outlook calendar. 

You can also edit To-Do items directly in Outlook, and those updates will sync back to ISMS.online. Change the description or adjust the due date; it will stay in sync automatically. 

Setup requirements: 

• A Microsoft Outlook account 

• API Key access enabled for your ISMS.online user 
• Just a few clicks in your User Settings > Notifications > Integrations 

This is a user-level integration, designed to make your daily task management frictionless, especially for busy InfoSec Managers, Compliance Officers, and cross-functional team leads. Explore our documentation to find out more.
