About Taxlab
Taxlab is an online tax software system designed for accounting firms and corporates of all sizes. It covers tax effect accounting, income tax returns, FBT returns, or brings them all together and integrates the entire tax compliance process. The business is on a mission to ‘make tax less taxing’ through its innovative technology designed to take the pain, risk and cost out of tax administration.
The challenge
Previously with Deloitte New Zealand’s tax technology team, co-founders Allen Knight and Karl Farrand have a natural understanding of the importance of risk management, which is why ISO 27001 certification was high on their agenda.
They also have an eye for excellent tech, so when Taxlab’s information security consultants recommended ISMS.online, they were all in.
