Introduces Online Virtual Coach to cut ISO27001 Implementation Time and Costs

UKAS accredited ISO 27001

ISMS.Online announces the release of its ISO 27001:2013 Virtual Coach Programme to complement their groundbreaking software solution for implementing, managing and improving information security and data protection management.

The cyber & information security market is growing fast and many new organisations are seeking to improve their security credentials in order to build stakeholder confidence and meet applicable legislation such as GDPR. This is great news for building stronger, safer,  and more compliant supply chains.

Responding to the uptake in those seeking to align their information security to the ISO 27001 framework, many now with GDPR compliance in mind, have launched their ISO 27001 Virtual Coach Programme to further reduce implementation costs and time.

Sitting directly within a software solution providing a suite of frameworks, management tools, policies and other content, it offers expert guidance on preparing for and meeting each of the ISO 27001 requirements and Annexe A controls.

The new Virtual Coach service is targeted at organisations, new or improving, who would prefer to take greater control of their own implementation and work at a pace they want to work. The ‘always on’ coach enables them to fast track or slow down based on their objectives and workloads and enables them to keep any additional ‘physical’ consultancy for specific technical support if needed.

Mark Darby, CEO of Alliantist, the successful software firm behind ISMS.Online commented

“By providing everything an organisation needs, from ISO 27001 frameworks, tools, content and now expert guidance, we’ve significantly increased their chance of early ISMS success which will also support an organisations readiness for GDPR.

Having all of this in one secure and accredited online environment, where they can share and collaborate with internal and external teams, means they can work at their own pace towards their security and data protection goals.”

He added,

“We’ve made our Virtual Coach available at a fraction of the ten’s of thousands of pounds expert advice like this would normally cost, making ISO 27001 certification now easily within reach of all organisations.

It really is an ‘ISMS in a box’ that demonstrates significant value in terms of the time it can save but also the high costs normally associated with an ISO 27001 implementation.”

WEM Technology was one of the first to benefit from the Virtual Coach programme. Managing Director Vin Jauhal commented,

“The Virtual Coach is a great way to see the power of the platform. Watching the videos in the ISO 27001 Preparation Project provides really useful information, and marking the Virtual Coach activities as complete shows a progress bar which really instils the confidence needed to complete the policies and controls and just go for it!

We’ve been really impressed with the help we’ve received from the team at but now we also have access to well structured and easy to follow expert guidance whenever we need it.”
